Health and Safety
At Farminer Developments Ltd, our mission is to not only provide a high quality service and product for the client, but to be at the forefront of health and safety compliance and adherence within the construction industry. Such target will protect the wellbeing of all personnel on and off site.
Regulations
Directors and employees of Farminer Developments Ltd recognise the importance of health and safety and ensure compliance with statutory regulations including CDM2007 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Our Organization takes health and safety very seriously with management trained to deal with health and safety issues. To comply with UK regulations and achieve our organisations health and safety targets; mandatory Risk Assessments, Method Statements and construction phase Health and Safety Plans are produced.
The production of such plans and statements ensures the provision and maintenance of safe and healthy work conditions, equipment and systems of work for all employees, contractors and the general public. All employees are encouraged to report any concerns and are required to report any accidents in accordance with RIDDOR 1995.
Training
Critical to achieving our Health and Safety targets is regular and continuing training. Our operatives are CMPE carded to operate plant & machinery and we ensure they are provided with the necessary health and safety information, training and supervision as required. We envisage in 5 years’ time that all management and operatives within the company will be CSCS carded.
Policy
The Health and Safety of all personnel is paramount to the organisation. Such commitment is represented in the companies Health and Safety Policy
which is reviewed annually by the comapnies Managing Director, Ian Farminer, and ammended as appropriate.
