Farminer Developments Limited

History

Farminer Developments has been in existence for over 60 years. Geoffrey Farminer established the business in 1947, trading then as G E Farminer and Son. In 1967 John Farminer took over the company until his retirement in 1993. Ian Farminer, existing Managing Director, then took over the company having completed a carpentry and joinery apprenticeship. Since becoming Managing Director, Ian has taken up project managing and driving the company forward.

Progression
The company has progressively grown from a small local contractor to an organisation that has worked with clients across Surrey and London on a diverse range of projects.

Present & Future
The company continues to invest in qualified tradesman, site managers and project managers so as to delver a high quality end product. In the near future, the company is seeking to achieve chartered status.

Farminer Developments became a limited company in 1986 and has seen the introduction of a fourth generation working within the business in 2007. Marc Farminer has completed a Bsc (Hons) degree in Project Management for Construction that is accredited by the CIOB. At present we are a medium sized building company that can deliver various services throughout the delivery of a project. We have a team of full time tradesmen, qualified site managers and project managers. As contractors, we strive to use sub-contractors that produce the high quality work and professional yet friendly and personal service that we always expect
